Item Description
4.25x9.5" envelope w/"Orphan Annie" return address contains complete Quaker Oats Sparkies cereal premium kit. Envelope has typed recipient name/address label and is aged w/corner tip wear. Fine. Kit consists of folder/letter to parent and 8.5x11" folder "Handbook" which opens to 11x34" and is printed on both sides, including membership certificate and descriptive images of various premiums including "Glowbird" badge (see following item). Folded as issued w/some lt. wear but VF overall. Comes w/2.5" tall tin signal whistle which also serves as membership badge w/clip-on back. Some oxidation to interior and scattered spiderwebbing to tin litho, but Fine overall. "Whirlomatic Radio Decoder" folder remains uncut w/intact dial; unused "Be A Captain!" application blank, "Gift Order Form" for "Orphan Annie/Sparkies" premiums and "Safety Guard Defense Bulletin." Both this and gift form have been folded as issued w/moderate even aging to gift form, which is Fine/VF while rest is Exc. to NM.
