Large 27.75x40.75" vintage wooden frame contains matted poster advertising the Pennsylvania Railroad's Western routes w/"From Boston - From New York - From Philadelphia - To The West" text. 1870s. Poster features Pennsylvania Railroad logo at top, which is surrounded by testimonials about their services including - "Good Eating Houses, "Fine Sleeping Cars," etc. Poster has scattered moderate moisture staining, most notably across top margin, center and along bottom as well as across the Boston/New York/Philadelphia section. Margins show wear w/tears and creases; 5.5" tears at bottom right corner. VG overall. Frame has had backing replaced. Wonderful design.
