Item Description
Lot of three 1940s car license plate attachments, measuring between 5.25 and 6.5" tall. All feature variations of classic "V For Victory" wartime slogan. Die-cut V is painted tin and shows some paint wear to raised "For Victory" lettering and "V" itself. Fine. Attachment w/American flag is tin litho and made by Mayer Mfg. Co. Some lt. artificating to surface as stacked but o/w Exc. V in circle is silk-screened thin steel w/"Smitties" Indianapolis, IN imprint on reverse. Scattered wear to silk-screened design. Fine.
