Item Description
"The Beatles Show" was a series of concerts as presented by Arthur Howe during the summer of 1963. Offered here are two thin paper ticket stubs from concerts at the Odeon Theatre and matching program from second of these performances. Each date featured two performances, and both stubs in this lot are from the second performances. 1-7/8x2-7/8" lt. yellow stub is for July 27, 1963 concert at the West-Super-Mare Odeon. 2.5x2-5/8" pink stub is for Aug. 26, 1963 concert at the Southport Odeon. Both have thin strip of white tape on back at top as once mounted in scrapbook. Both thin paper stubs have some lt. handling wear/aging w/some handling wear. July stub is VF overall. Aug. stub has more creasing and is Fine/VF. This stub comes w/8x10-3/8" souvenir program from the Southport concert (programs were printed for each venue; in different colors). Program features The Beatles on cover and much biographical info and photos within w/features/photos on openers Gerry and The Pacemakers and others. Program shows moderate pinch creasing to spine w/scattered handling wear and tape staining at each corner of back cover. VG overall.
