Item Description
Lot of three 1940s anti-Axis, anti-Hitler items. Matched pair of 5.25" tall by 5" long solid ceramic figural skunks w/Hitler faces. While skunks feature same mold design, each has slight variations in decoration. One features stark bw coloration while other has pink-skinned Hitler face w/additional paint details and flocking to bw surfaces; the white areas being separately applied flocked material. First variety has some wear w/chip to top of one ear and touch-up flake to front of one front foot. Other front foot has flake/chip on underside. White portions are evenly aged and figure is VG/Fine overall. Second variety has some aging to white material and is o/w Exc. Skunks come w/3.25" tall by 4.5" long glazed china figural bank, depicted w/tears on pig's face. Pig's rear has Hitler caricature, pig's tail standing in for Hitler's nose. Marked "Botay K.C. Mo." on underside. Coin slot at top helps for the number "4," making up "Cents 4 Defense" text. Pig's rear has "Camp McCoy - Wisconsin" marking. Scattered aging/wear but VF overall.
