Item Description
4.25x4.25x.25" thick ceramic hotplate/wall plaque has decal of cartoon image of Uncle Sam pulling his pants down, exposing his rear for Tojo to kiss as Hitler and Mussolini look on. "Uncle Sam's Peace Terms" title at bottom. Back has cardboard backing w/"'La Rose' Tiles" name and hanging tab for wall display. Jerome Rose Decal Co., 1940s. Decal is evenly aged and has some minor scattered flaking, but image remains complete. Back shows some wear w/tiny edge chips and some coloring. Cardboard is aged and has creases. Front displays VF. Rare.
