Item Description
11.5x16-3/8" DC artboard has pencil original art by Mike Wieringo (1963-2007) that has been inked by José Marzan, Jr. Art is for page 27 of "The Flash" Vol. 2 #85, published by DC Comics Dec. 1993. Page features four panels, showing a battered and bloodied Flash (Wally West) dragging Art Valentine to confront Razer, whom Valentine had hired to shake down a construction site. Razer is trapped in tar truck and rats out Valentine immediately. First panel shows Flash racing by his love interest Linda Park w/second panel featuring him running down side of skyscraper. Second panel has some red felt tip pen lines (w/large "Remove Red Lines" text in black felt tip pen at bottom margin). Top margin has handwritten title and issue/page numbers w/scattered editorial notations. Center left/right margins have hole punches and artboard has some corner tip wear at bottom corners w/slight wear to top corners. Back has DC copyright inkstamp. Artboard is Fine/VF overall but art remains clean and Exc.
