Item Description
Pair of porcelain items commemorating British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, made in England by Copeland Spode. 7.5" tall pitcher features great portrait image of Churchill flanked by British warship, Spitfire and tanks w/Churchill's famous "All I Can Offer Is Blood, Toil, Tears And Sweat" quote above and "Never In The Field Of Human Conflict Was So Much Owed By So Many To So Few" quote appears below. Opposite side features image of crossed Union Jack and American flags, w/"We Stand For Democracy" text and Spitfire image. Full company markings on underside. Glossy and Exc. 9" tall figural porcelain Churchill figure dates to 1941 and has sculptor "Eric Olsen NRD" name incised on back edge of base. Figure bears no other markings and is Exc.
