Item Description
13x15" frame contains production animation cel from 1944 cartoon "She-Sick Sailors," which was a Famous Studios Superman parody. Cel features full body image of Popeye as superhero, complete w/cape. His raised pipe emits a blast, which he used in the cartoon to propel himself to flight, rushing to Olive Oyl's rescue. Comes w/hand-painted bkg. Cel has some hairlines to cape area and tiny paint flake to pipe. 1/8" paint flake to shoe. Still displays nicely as framed. Fine overall.
