Item Description
Lot of three 3.25x5.5" single-sided cards that were issued as complimentary passes by theaters hosting their own Mickey Mouse Clubs. 1930s. First card was issued by The Fox Theatre Mickey Mouse Club of Globe, AZ in 1933 and has been filled out in ink to student in recognition of earning spot of her school's honor roll. Card features bkg. image of Mickey w/hat in raised hand. Card has inked 1934 expiration date. Back has some penciled figures on back. Scattered handling wear and aging. Fine overall. Remaining two cards feature similar designs featuring same image of Mickey Mouse serenading w/guitar as Minnie Mouse dances. Cards feature different text/layout but are both from the Fox California-Stockton Independent Mickey Mouse Club and were likely issued to non-club members for special Mickey birthday show as cards note invitation is from club officers/members. Both have scrapbook remnants on backs but fronts remain clean. Blue card displays Exc. Purple card has some handling creases and is VF. First we've seen of these two cards in our 53 years.
