Item Description
Smallest button is 7/8" and the largest Chief Scout badge is 1.75" tall. Group begins with the first two ever Lone Ranger badge premiums from Silvercup bread, 1934. First is basic member (couple blue paint dots off background, but VF) followed by "Chief Scout" badge awarded after member worked his way through five "degree" advancements making it quite scarce. Exc. Row 2 first is issued by Miami Maid bread, 1939, scarce and NM; next is silvered brass "Silver's Lucky Horseshoe" issued by Merita c.1938. TLR & Silver shown on front, some silver off but Fine; and last is 1938 brass luster star from Bond Bread. Fine. Row 3 is "Silver Club / Butter-Nut" bread from 1939 rare badge, NM followed by embossed brass "Cobakco Safety Club" (Continental Baking Co) with some black paint loss, but Fine. The last five buttons are 1940s all from "Buchan's" bakery TLR Safety Club. Here are three of 12 known small slogan buttons (light age on "Lone Ranger Loaf" but Fine) plus two of the three advanced rank 1.25" buttons. "Member" is the missing one, but present are the rarer "Deputy" and "Captain". All Exc to NM except as noted.
