Item Description
9.25x10.5 tall (16.5" tall counting attached pendulum) by 5" deep hand-carved Black Forest style cuckoo clock. Clock face is marked "Foreign" but is o/w unmarked. 1930s. Clock has been carved to resemble cottage and features full body high relief image of Mickey Mouse at lower left and sleeping Pluto in doghouse at lower right. Opening door reveals cuckoo bird at peak of roof. Clock comes w/original carved wood bird motif pendulum and cast iron pinecone weights. Lower left has carved point broken off finial decoration and clock has some scattered dust soiling. Back shows wear as opened. Missing 1 o'clock numeral from clock face. Even surface oxidation to chains. Clock is not currently operational. Fine overall.
