Item Description
7.75x10x3.5" deep box contains scarce camera from early 1950s by the Ettelson Corp. Camera is heavy Bakelite like material w/Mickey Mouse images/name on front plate, winding knob and back unlocking knob. Comes w/original flash unit w/flash cover, "Mickey Mouse Prize Photographer" tin litho tab, instruction folder and registration card. Underside of box lid has illustrated label featuring Mickey that notes camera has double exposure protection. This shows wear w/edge tears/chips. Box shows obvious wear w/one side panel of lid missing, 1.75" tear at lid tab securing point, corner/edge splits and 1.5" and 3.5" corner splits. Two .5" tears to cardboard carrying handle. Box is complete w/die-cut insert that once contained flash bulbs and batteries, but these are no longer present. Box is Good/VG. Camera and flash unit appear unused and are Exc. Registration card and instruction folder are aged and Fine overall. Tab has lt. scattered wear and is VF. We have offered this tab a few times over the years but this is the first we've seen either the camera or box in our 53 years.
