Item Description
5.75x17.25" artboard has pen and ink original art by Walt Kelly for April 29, 1958 daily strip. Strip features four panels and features Flea discussing w/Mouse his plans to join the Beat Generation, declaring he's "As Beat As They Come" and calling himself "A Burned-Out Rocket." First panel has been dated and Kelly has signed last panel under copyright. Artboard has vertical fold at center and top margin has scattered pin holes and faint editorial notations.
