Item Description
8.5x12.5" album w/20 pages containing complete set of 144 thin paper full color cards. Each is 2x3" and mounted at appropriate spots. This is one of two different Capt. Marvel Fher card albums and was issued in 1959 (see previous item for other album). Pages feature Spanish captions below each card as well as additional images running down the center of each page w/story art. Choice card art. Story features both the Marvel and Sivana families and includes their origin as well as adventure that takes them to space, under the sea and elsewhere and ends with Capt. Marvel, Marvel Jr. and Mary Marvel triumphant. Album has moderate scattered wear/aging. Title page Marvel Family illustration has been neatly colored. Fine. Cards are mostly EX to NM as mounted. Rare complete album, the only such example we've offered in our 53 years.
