Item Description
14x20" first printing poster for June 24-25, 1966 concerts at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA featuring Lenny Bruce and The Mothers of Invention. Union bug "72" at bottom left. Design by Wes Wilson centered around photo of Bruce by Edmond Shea. CGC gaded 9.8 NM/Mint. The highest graded example of this poster ever offered at auction. These were Lenny Bruce's final two performances before his death on Aug. 3, 1966. A desirable and nearly un-improvable example of this early Bill Graham Fillmore series poster.
