Item Description
11x16.25" artboard has pen and ink (w/white ink effects) original art by Gray Morrow for page 1 of "Supergirl Movie Special" #1, published by DC Comics Feb. 1985. Page features three panels, showing Argo City floating in space, w/Kara (Supergirl) as a child, listening to her mentor Zaltar. Kara and Zaltar only appear in last panel. Based on the 1984 "Supergirl" movie. Top margin has inked title and page numbers. Upper left corner has pasted "Supergirl" title stat. Bottom margin has pasted indicia strip. Scattered editorial notations in margins. Back has DC copyright inkstamp. Top margin has been trimmed. All four corners have been clipped, not affecting art. 2.25" long streak of ink smudging at lower right of first panel and at top of third. Art is o/w clean and VF overall.
