42x57" on thin glossy paper. Advertising the bands "Only American Appearance" an eight concert series from May 28- June 5. Edge losses and crumpling along top and bottom edges. Reverse has foxing throughout. Front has scattered foxing in top r/l margins some affecting design at top left corner and moderate handling wrinkles. VG. Majority of these issues would frame out and this poster will make for an impressive display piece. Show promoters overtly oversold each night and were eventually shut down by NYC Fire. Not willing to disappoint fans The Clash agreed to perform an additional eight nights to satisfy the ticket holders in what has become a historic series of shows at the launching pad of their rise to mainstream popularity.
