Item Description
17.5x21.5" frame contains proclamation from the Office of the President Borough of Manhattan, City of New York proclaiming Oct. 17, 1987 "James Brown Day" in the Borough of Manhattan. Proclamation lists some of Brown's songs and notes proclamation was issued during the "I Love New York" Festival. 10.75x17" document has been signed by Borough President and has been taped to bkg. Document bears embossed foil seal of the President of the Borough of Manhattan. Document has scattered aging and age spotting, w/3/8x.75" spot of tanning below oversized first letter of "Proclamation. VG. Ex Christies 2008 auction.
