Item Description
11-3/8x17.5" stiff paper poster for Jan. 5, 1979 concert featuring The Ramones, w/The Enemy and The Stripes at the Norway Center in Seattle, WA. Concert was in support of The Ramones' "Road To Ruin" album, which was released in Sept. 1978. Poster features the album cover art from "Road To Ruin," by John Holstrom. Comic book store/ticket venue Time Travelers is listed at bottom of poster, and this was the first concert booked and promoted by Time Travelers.  This show came about primarily due to the Time Travelers' staff and customers being Ramones fans but many being under the legal drinking age of 21 (as The Ramones were putting on another concert at the local Rainbow Tavern) and thus not being able to attend the Rainbow Tavern show. When Time Travelers found out the band had another open night, they booked the Norway Center show. Poster has some scattered edge wear, including .25" tear at upper right, some handling creases along right and some tiny scattered age spots. Fine overall. Rare.
