Item Description
1.75" brass hanger suspending ribbon joined to the collet of a graphic 2-1/8" button. Design features portrait set against the U.S. Capitol. Additional text reads "Inauguration March 4, 1933 Our President Franklin D. Roosevelt." Hanger is missing bar pin. Tiny pin hole in ribbon at top left. Button has moderate surface wear in reflected light. Exc. Strong color and full gloss. A classic design from FDR's first inauguration. Mike Nichols Collection.
