Brooks Robinson played his entire 23-year MLB career w/the Baltimore Orioles (1955-1977), which still stands as the record for the longest career spent w/a single team in MLB history (tied w/Carl Yastrzemski). Nicknamed "The Human Vacuum Cleaner" or "Mr. Hoover," he is considered the greatest defensive third baseman in MLB history. AN 18-time All-Star, two-time World Series champ (1966, 1970) and 1970 World Series MVP, he won 16 consecutive Gold Glove Awards during his career. Robinson was elected to the Baseball HOF in 1983.
