Item Description
1.5" dia. w/near exact likeness of "MAD" Magazine's Alfred E. Neuman w/"Superior - 1941" text, referring to Superior Products, producers of punchboards and other games of chance. Superior used this Neuman doppelgänger as their mascot, even using Neuman's familiar catchphrase (years before the character appeared in the popular humor magazine). Button never had a back paper and no maker's name. One of only four examples we've seen in our 53 years. Only very tiny wear traces in reflected light. Centering of the design is close to perfect. NM displaying  Mint w/high gloss. Rare.
