Item Description
3.5" by "Columbia Advertising Co." Included in this complete set are: Kennedy, McCarthy (small ridge on outer edge at 11 o'clock that occurred in manufacturing) McNamara, Shriver, Stevenson, Humphrey, Wagner, Brown & Ribicoff. Unless noted all have light surface wear and are Exc. to NM. RFK was favored by many Democrats for the VP nomination in part as a tribute to his slain brother. Johnson wanted no part as the two men shared a notorious mutual contempt for one another. As the Atlantic City, NJ DNC approached Johnson went as far as having the FBI monitor RFK's contacts to prevent any last minute efforts to draft Kennedy as VP during the convention.
