Item Description
This Lindy with his airplane (known as a jugate {conjoined busts} in campaign button collecting circles) is elegant in its simplicity. "We" was the title of his book telling the story of him and his machine on their momentous 1927 Trans-Atlantic flight. This scarce button has lightly worn back paper reading: "Read Lindbergh's Own Story 'We' In The Dispatch" plus button maker's name W&H. A couple faint scratches in reflected light. Exc. displaying Mint. John Pendergrass Collection.
