Item Description
2.5" long round wood dowel serves as the broom handle with many 2.5" long bristles glued around the end of the wood to serve as the broom. Some bristles missing and a few partially loose but vast majority remain along with fine stitching across the bristles just below the stamp which is a photographic piece of paper picturing Bryan without dot screen. Tiny text on bottom stamp edge reads: Patd. July (appears to be 12, 1896, but there is a small paper crack and few surface paper dots gone). There are numerous broom themes  (Clean Sweep or Sweep the Rascals Out) lapel studs, pinbacks and brass shell stickpins for both McKinley and Bryan in 1896, but this is a first seen larger variety. VG. Rare.
