Item Description
22x24" cotton. Threads of History plate 585 on p.256. Candidate's portraits decorating each corner w/American shield at center labeled "Protection." Text around perimeter "For President Benjamin Harrison For Vice President Levi P. Morton." Ink inscription "W.D.B. 88" at top left in field of portrait. Vertical crease at center, a tiny pin hole in red field above the "N" in "Protection" and a few scattered light brown spots. VF. Often found w/significant fading this example has rich bold colors and displays beautifully.
