Item Description
7.5" long by 6.5" tall tin litho toy w/built-in key. Marx, ©1938 McCarthy Inc. Toy depicts Charlie McCarthy as the driver and his name appears on both grille and back/sides of trunk. This is scarcer color variety w/cream wheels w/red rims. Toy works well and travels around in an erratic fashion as his head turns and car rears up every so often. Slight bend to brim of Charlie's hat. Toy has scattered tiny paint nicks/scratches w/traces of bare metal and some lt. oxidation showing at spots. Still a Fine example of this classic Marx wind-up.
