Item Description
Wonderfully illustrated 14.25x17.5x5.5" deep box contains complete and unused uniform and gun set made in Spain by MA.FI.SA-Sabadell, 1967. Box lid illustration shows Gordon Tracy character as well as "Thunderbirds" base and rocket while sides of box show photos of characters from the 1964-1966 Gerry and Silvia Anderson supermarionation TV show. Box shows moderate wear w/one corner dented in w/splits. Lid has slight inward warp and edge/corner tip wear as well as some aged tape strips and surface paper lift from price sticker removal. Main lid panel also has some surface paper lift from sticker removal. Box is VG overall. Quality made uniform comes w/original plastic bags and remains attached to cardboard insert. Uniform consists of child "Size II" cotton top and pants as well as vinyl sash/holster and boot cuffs. Red uniform sash (noting Gordon Tracy uniform) and padded vinyl cap both bear "IR" International Rescue logo. Cap has moderate aging and is VG while uniform remains unused and NM. Comes w/plastic "Thunderbird Special" click pistol by Gonzalez that has raised name on right side and "Guardianes Del Espacio" on the left. Gun is aged but o/w unused and Exc. Rare and first we've offered.
