Item Description
5-3/8x7x6" tall plastic radio c. 1938. Nice Art Deco design with louvered speaker on left side. 4.5" tall hand-painted cast metal figure of Charlie sits on ledge of case. Light paint wear to figure but 90% paint remains. Original wire monacle. Case has been expertly painted in original shade of off-white and now has a Mint appearance. Radio lights up and hums. Missing back cover. Cord possibly replaced. Brass nameplate between dials reads "Charlie McCarthy Majestic." Bright and clean.
