9.5x13x1" deep factory-sealed art set by Hasbro, ©1965 NCP, Inc. Set No. 2196 includes five pre-sketched/numbered pictures, 10 oil paints in recappable vials and paintbrush. Set is complete and unused as factory-sealed, though shrinkwrap has split along entire width at bottom which has aged tape strips keeping shrinkwrap in place. Bottom side panel has two original store price stickers. Slight warp due to tightness of shrinkwrap, but o/w VF/Exc. w/NM contents. While we have offered similar Superman and Batman painting sets, this is the first we've offered of this Superboy set in our 53 years. Rare.
