Item Description
Ornate 14.25x16-1/8" frame w/easel back contains pen and ink original art of Golden Age Flash Jay Garrick, a recreation of Flash's first splash panel in "Flash Comics" #1. Art is by Flash's co-creator, Harry Lampert (1916-2004), who has inscribed art "The Flash - As I Drew Him In The Splash Panel Of The First Flash Story In Flash Comics #1, January, 1940 - Harry Lampert - 1995." Art is further enhanced by great custom mat created by artist Dan Makara, featuring collage style utilizing various Flash comic panels from the 1940s Exc. Dan Makara Collection.
