Item Description
11x17" artboard has fully realized and nicely rendered lead pencil original art featuring full body images of DC Comics characters Metamorpho and Aquaman by DC artist Ramona Fradon. Fradon is known for her work illustrating "Aquaman" and "Brenda Starr" as well as for co-creating Metamorpho, who is shown w/a hand on Aquaman's shoulder while leaning on his other hand, which has formed a clever stand, courtesy Metamorpho's elemental shapeshifting powers. Art has been personalized and signed in pencil at upper right and Fradon has signed again in pencil under art. Exc. Dan Makara Collection.
