Large box is 12x21x3" deep and contains complete 5-piece set No. 56. 1950s. Box is designed to be converted into an airplane hanger. Parts of box include cut-outs and designations of ready room/maintenance office. Box has overall moderate dust soiling and small age spotting but remains tight, Fine. Planes are cast metal and all have folding wings and retractable wheels. Largest is Fighter Bomber, 10" long with sliding canopy. There are two matching 6.5." planes No. 467, each with removable canopy. (Both have shrunk slightly with age but can be positioned to stay in place). Final two planes are #530 and 5" long. Set is unused old store stock although planes have a few tiny scattered paint nicks. NM.
