Item Description
Approx. 11x16.5" artboard has pencil original art by Pat Broderick that has been inked by Bob Smith. Art is for page 13 of "Batman" Vol. 1 #552, published by DC Comics July 1985. Page features six panels, showing approaching issue's villain Cutter, who strikes him w/club, knocking down the Dark Knight. In his fall, Batman crunches gel capsule, its effect mimicking death. Batman appears (or appears partially) in four panels. Top margin has stamped title and inked publication month and issue/page numbers. Back has DC Comics copyright inkstamp. Top right and bottoms have been clipped, not affecting art. Top margin has uneven trim, again not affecting art, which remains clean and Exc.
