Item Description
1.75" with back paper of Bastian, Rochester (and their name on the curl) and spring pin holding American flag ribbon. Produced for his 1910 Reno bout vs. J. J. Jefferies. See the following related, but not totally matching, button for his opponent Jeffries. Ribbon has three crease marks but clean. Button has a few pinpoint age dots on the back around the collet. Front has normal and very light wear in reflected light. No stain on the front. Nice gloss. Exc. Only the second we've been able to offer in our 53 years. Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Example.
