Item Description
13.5x20" artboard has pen and ink original art by Don Heck. Art is for page 4 of "Tales Of Suspense" #51, published by Marvel March 1964. Page features eight panels, w/top two panels showing the Uncanny Umberto (Scarecrow) surrounded by his thieving birds while plotting robbery of Tony Stark's apartment. Rest of page shows a sassy Pepper Potts intercepting one of Tony Stark's dates, who storms off in a huff, only for Tony to appear in second to last panel asking about her. Top margin has double handwritten title, publication month and issue/page numbers. Back has Comics Code Authority inkstamp. Fifth panel has some staining to word balloon, but o/w art remains clean and Exc. Great early art featuring Iron Man characters.
