Item Description
This 1950s toy is not to be confused w/larger Unique Arts Howdy Doody piano toy (see item #897) that features Buffalo Bob Smith playing piano. This 3.75x5x5.5" tall tin litho version by Line Mar features Clarabell as pianist and separate Howdy Doody figure stands beside piano. When wound, Howdy dances up and down while turning around as Clarabell moves back and forth. Works well and comes w/replacement key. Large "Howdy Doody" name on back of piano. Toy is evenly aged and shows some scattered wear in the form of small paint nicks, mainly to piano. Fine/VF overall. Infinitely rarer than the Unique Art version, this is just the second example we've offered in our 53 years.
