Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 6.5" long by 5.5" tall tin litho piano w/built-in key and 7" tall Buffalo Bob and 8" tall Howdy Doody tin litho figures. Unique Art, 1950s. Box is complete and evenly aged. 1" and 1.25" splits to top inner flaps and 1.75" split along lid hinge. Scattered wear including corner tip wear w/some small edge tears and tiny puncture to lid. Box is Fine overall. Toy works and Buffalo Bob's arms move as he rocks back and forth as Howdy dances. Piano has great graphics including Flub-A-Dub, Clarabell and Howdy, "The Kids President." Back panel shows the Peanut Gallery pointing down at other toys made by Unique including "Unique Artie, Kiddie Cyclist, Bombo, Lincoln Tunnel," etc. Some scattered paint nicks/scratches, but glossy overall and VF. Ex Donald Kaufmann Collection and comes w/auction specific tag.
