Item Description
4.25x5.25" single-sided card features full body image of Superman and was issued for July 3, 1940 "Superman Day" event at the New York World's Fair. In addition to Superman image, card also features image of Trylon and Perisphere. Card reads "Congratulations Finalist - You Are Invited To A Complimentary Sandwich, Glass Of Milk, And A Frosted Donut At Wards Mayflower Donuts - Great White Way - New York World's Fair" and noted "Offer Good Only Day Of Event." Bottom right has "NYWFPO" notation. Vertical fold at center w/archival tape repairs on reverse to tiny tears at top/bottom. Still VF overall. Rare.
