Item Description
Pair of 1940 cards. 3-5/8x5.25" stiff paper card promoting Macy's 1940 Thanksgiving Parade. Card features full body image of Superman in classic pose and also mentions WOR 710, which aired the Superman radio program. The Superman display was the largest balloon featured in the 1940 parade. Card is evenly aged and o/w Exc. "Complimentary Admission" ticket stub for "Superman Adventure" show at New York City Macy's Toyland measures 2.5x4" and features same full body image of Superman. "E - MHS" high school stamped imprint on front, but ticket is o/w NM.
