Item Description
Pair of 1930s litho litho sweeper toys. 4x7x2" tall Ohio Art sweeper w/attached wooden handle features scene on top of sweeper head showing Mickey Mouse playing the piano while Minnie Mouse dusts and sings. Repeated small images of Mickey and Minnie on front/back side panels, w/large "Mickey Mouse" name. Sweeper shows just lt. wear along edges and is much nicer than typically found. VF/Exc. 4x6x1.5" tall Wells of London sweeper features wooden wheels. Top of sweeper features three great scenes involving Mickey and Minnie, their nephews, long-billed Donald Duck and Pluto w/images involving mop or this sweeper. Missing the generic metal bracket that held the wooden handle, which is also missing. Painted tin side panels have scattered traces of paint wear w/some scattered oxidation and left side panel has some denting. Body of sweeper has shallow dent to right of top main panel (by Mickey image) and scattered paint nicks/scratches. Fine overall.
