Item Description
Pair of 9x12" magazines published Aug. 1924 and May 1925 by Experimenter Publishing Co. Considered the first Science-Fiction magazine, these two issues are among the most desirable and key issues for this title. Both feature choice color gilt covers, 1924 issue featuring early Martian "Evolution On Mars" cover story and article pertaining to Mars w/Science-Fiction illustration. 1925 issue features great dinosaur cover w/Brontosaurus attacking city (inspired by article on "The Lost World" within). Covers show aging/wear w/moderate aging to gilt area on 1924 issue and some spine wear at top/bottom of 1925 issue. Covers are VG. Contents have moderate aging to one section and 1925 issue also has some minor moisture staining to margins. Contents are Fine overall.
