Item Description
Complete 1942 kit consists of original illustrated mailing envelope w/typed recipient name/address, 8x10.5" Welcome letter, "Captain Marvel's Magic Membership Card," illustrated code wheel (featuring fellow Fawcett comic characters Spy Smasher, Captain Marvel Jr., Bulletman and Captain Midnight), 1 dia. cello club button (all three are mentioned in letter) as well as typed "Captain Marvel's Secret Message" code slip. Issued 1942-1943. Membership card is unused. Letter is folded as mailed, but o/w kit components show just lt. aging and are VF to Exc. Envelope shows wear from mailing and is Fine overall. Scarce as a complete kit.
