Item Description
19.75x20x8.25" deep box contains complete set. This is the store version of this toy which comes in an illustrated box. A Sears exclusive version came in a plain cardboard shipping box. Mattel, ©1966 Space Productions Inc. Box has lt. wear/aging, minor creasing. Applied color litho illustration on front is bright and clean. Cardboard insert in box bottom intact. Displays VF overall. Main item is large styrofoam "Jupiter 2" two-piece spaceship 18" in dia. by 7.5" tall w/labels neatly applied at appropriate spots. Spaceship shows scattered lt. wear/aging. Lower section of saucer is very rare blue styrofoam version. First we've seen. Fine/VF. Next is 7.5" long hard plastic chariot. Complete and attached to original cardboard insert. Untested and appears unused. VF. Also in insert is Air-Power pump. Sealed accessory bag 1 has radar dish, missile, suitcases and nine plastic figures - chrome B-9 Robot, Will, Maureen, Professor John Robinson (w/rocket pack & flying wire), Penny, Don, Judy, Bloop and Dr. Smith. Figures are NM as sealed. Factory-sealed accessory bag 2 has track, switches, connectors, joiners and plugs, instruction booklet and an unused sticker label sheet. NM as sealed. Lt. aging/wear to plastic bags. Set comes w/color cardboard targets and backdrop scenery that are unpunched/unfolded. Feature planet scapes and alien monsters including the Cyclops. Exc. One of the nicest we've offered. An exceptional toy and a rare "Lost In Space" item.
