Item Description
11.25x11-5/8" frame contains animation cel w/matted hand-painted image measuring 4x5-3/8" from 1954 Donald Duck animated short "Donald's Diary." In that short, Daisy Duck introduces Donald to her deaf mother (who looks exactly like James Whistler's portrait of "Arrangement In Grey and Black No. 1," more commonly known as "Whistler's Mother"). Tiny traces of wear to head, resulting in a few hairline cracks to paint, but these are only noticeable upon close inspection. Displays Exc. as professionally matted and framed. Great full figure image of a very obscure Disney character.
