Item Description
AFA graded and encapsulated 12 Back-C blister card contains 2.25" tall action figure of Jawa from Kenner's popular 1978 "Star Wars" toyline, ©1977 Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp. Card is unpunched. Figure features initial "Vinyl Cape" variety. Among the last of the first 12 figures to be released by Kenner, this vinyl cape version was the first variety produced and the decision to switch to a cloth cape to add perceived value to this smaller figure came about shortly in the figure's production history. This 12 Back-C card is just the second example of the Vinyl Cape Jawa found on this cardback, a cardback that was previously unknown to the hobby until recently. This is the only example graded by AFA (the other example has been graded 85% by UKG and resides in a private collection). AFA-graded 85 NM+ (Archival case). AFA subgrades are as follows - C85 B85 F85. An extremely rare variant of one of Kenner's most iconic action figures and sure to become a key piece in any "Star Wars" collection.
