Item Description
Lot of three 8.5x11" offset litho concert flyers for 1981-1983 San Francisco, CA concerts, each featuring art by Raymond Pettibon. Halloween, 1981 flyer for concert that took place at the Elite Club that was headlined by Black Flag. Additional bands included D.O.A., Saccharine Trust and Overkill. Pettibon's art features nude man soaring through spotlights. Tiny spot of staining to back which shows through faintly at center right and lt. strip of aging along upper left, o/w extremely clean and Exc. Jan. 21, 1983 flyer for concert that took place at On Broadway that was headlined by Black Flag. Additional bands included Saccharine Trust and Nig Heist. Flyer's art is entitled "Without Love I Don't Feel Anything" and features large erect penis and a bloody finger, the word "Love" scratched into the side of the penis. NM. Jan. 22, 1981 flyer for concert that took place at On Broadway that Minutemen, Meat Puppets, Descendents and Angst. Pettibon's art features dancing hippie and man laughing at reference to Cream song in text at upper right. NM. All were obtained at time of shows by consignor.
