9.75x12.25". Headline at top "Village Record Extra October 10th, 1848 Chester County Election Returns" and below center chart "100 Guns For Chester Co. The Whigs Have Been True To Their Colors! 800 For Johnston!" Vertical and horizontal creases, pencil notations at bottom right, ink mark in field at left, faint damp staining and edge wear. VG. A rare survivor and the first we've seen.
