Item Description
5.5x5.5x1.75” deep box contains complete and unused toy. 1978, issued only in Japan by Takara. Minor wear with light corner creases, pair of original tape residue stains on side panels but still very bright, glossy and VF. R2-D2 is 3” tall diecast metal and plastic, comes with base and sprue containing 3 missiles. Missiles are still held in place in Styrofoam tray by original tape strip. Comes with unused sheet of accent stickers. Figure is designed with spring-loaded firing mechanism on front of body plus free-wheeling/movable legs. Head turns and produces clicking noise. Two pinpoints of silver finish off head as made, o/w Mint.
